Humble Beginnings

In 2000, America’s Floor Source opened its first showroom behind a small church in Columbus, Ohio, with six loyal employees and a small base of builder customers.

From day one, the company operated on a simple principle: treat every project like a relationship, not a transaction.

That approach—focused on integrity, craftsmanship, and follow-through—became the foundation for what AFS Group is today.

By the end of its first year, America’s Floor Source achieved $5 million in sales—proof that doing things the right way leads to lasting results.

Regional Expansion

As customer demand grew, so did the opportunity to serve more markets.

AFS expanded regionally into Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnati, establishing local teams and showrooms that carried the same service-first philosophy.

This commitment to people and process set the stage for a new chapter of growth.

Strategic Acquisitions and Diversification

Beginning in 2021, AFS Group entered an accelerated phase of expansion through strategic acquisitions—integrating respected regional and national businesses that shared its values.

Over the next several years, the Group acquired JP Flooring Design Center, The Flooring Gallery, Reliant Flooring, MK Interiors LLC, C&S Flooring (parent of Flooring Market), Lewis Floor & Home, and Flooring Solutions of Memphis.

Each acquisition strengthened the organization’s expertise, broadened its product portfolio, and expanded its reach into new customer segments—from luxury residential and design to commercial, property management, and ecommerce.

Today, AFS Group employs more than 500 professionals across 10 locations in five states, generating more than $220 million in annual revenue.

The organization’s structure now includes five brand families: Brick & Mortar + Shop-at-Home, Direct-to-Consumer, Ecommerce, B2B Professional, and Product Brands.

This diversified portfolio positions AFS Group as a trusted partner to homeowners, builders, trade professionals, and institutional clients nationwide—delivering quality, consistency, and accountability through every brand.
