Flooring Donation Helps Transform Game Room
COLUMBUS, OH – America’s Floor Source, one of the nation’s leading flooring retailers, has partnered with premium flooring manufacturer Karndean Designflooring to complete a community impact project benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio. Together, the two flooring leaders donated materials and labor to renovate the game room at the J. Ashburn Jr. Youth Center in Central Ohio, creating a more vibrant, engaging, and welcoming space for local youth.
The renovated space was unveiled during an open house Oct. 9, with families, community leaders, and special guests from the Columbus Crew, three-time Major League Soccer (MLS) Cup winners. The event featured special appearances from, Stanislav Lapkes, a Columbus Crew player and the team mascot, Crew Cat.
Karndean generously donated its stylish, durable luxury vinyl flooring – flooring that’s waterproof, easy to clean, hygienic, and certified safe for kids and families. America’s Floor Source donated the installation, as part of its ongoing commitment to serving both its customers and its communities.

The effort is part of a broader partnership between America’s Floor Source and the Columbus Crew, the 2023 MLS Cup Champions, focused on community outreach and engagement throughout Central Ohio.
